My Top 5 Blog Posts Of 2016

December 28, 2016 — Leave a comment

This time of year is for reflection before the planning starts in the New Year. Thanks to the wisdom in Michael Hyatt’s book ‘Platform’, looking back on the year my focus for this blog was on writing posts that were more resourceful than informational. This change of strategy in my writing proved to be popular with my readers as I saw a notable increase in traffic for each of my blog posts. As always blogging and social media is a steep and never ending learning curve.

Here are my most viewed posts of 2016.

Ideas On Backing Up

Following on from my previous blog post ‘4 reasons to back up your photos and videos’ here are my thoughts on backing up your valuable images and videos.

I’m sure there are many other file storage/sharing websites available, however Dropbox is my site of choice and seems to be popular among photographers and non photographers alike. is an excellent online file storage and sharing website that’s easy to use and navigate around.

Mike and I recently spent 8 days there, it was sunny every day and we didn’t see  a drop of rain – bliss!!!

Here are my 5 top things to do if you visit Abu Dhabi, there is so much to do there that the below is really a fraction of what is on offer in this fabulous city. Continue reading

There are many online websites where you can create photo books. My favourite and the one I have been using for many years is Blurb.
